Getting to the Airport

Travel Stress or National Express! The Choice is Yours!

Lets face it, travelling is stressful at the best of times, however at holiday time the tension is even worse. First there is the packing, then there is the un-packing, then the repacking and that is just the suit case! You then have the horrors of remembering to cancel the milk and newspapers. Oh and have you made sure someone is looking after the cat? After all that hastle there is the small issue of remembering your tickets, passport and money. Oh and almost forgot to pack the kids!

Then you all pile into the car, sort out the kids; seat belts on, moaning, seat belts off, sort the problems, seat belts back on again and so on it goes. Then you can finally start the engine, to crys of 'Are we there yet?' and that is just the other half! At last, you set of; everyone is cheerful and in great holiday spirit then you hit the traffic jam. The kids need the loo, the other half is fretting, you are concentrating on getting to the airport in one piece. After more 'Are we there yet's and 'I  told you we shouldn't have come this way' and 'Well if I had been driving, I wouldn't have come this way', you arrive at the airport car park, phew! What more could go wrong?

As you drive round and round the airport car park looking for that elusive parking space, with the kids screaming, still needing the loo and the other half shreeking there is one, only to find that it is actually a trolley park. The kids are screaming now, the PS3's are being waved at you, its started to rain, you need a holiday! Then you find that parking space, which just happens to be a few miles away from the airport bus pick up point, still you have made it this far! You all pile out of the car, get the suitcases out of the boot, check you have the passports, tickets, money, PS3's, don't forget the kids, even though you may want to! Now you trudge through the rain, wet kids screaming, wet PS3's, wet other half, you get the picture. then you stand at the bus stop and wait, and wait and wait. Finally you drag the suitcases, screaming kids and soggy PS3's onto the bus and hold on tight as you spend the next hour passing through every airport car park in the northern hemisphere, before being forceably ejected  at the terminal entrance. Then you wonder why didn't you get a National Express coach and let someone else take the strain? Why indeed!

Picture this, you pack up the kids and cases, walk on to a National Express coach, plonk the kids down, strap them in, give them their PS3's and sit back, relax and listen to your favourite music on your i-pod as the other half settles down with a good book! Bliss!

So why don't you start your holiday early and in comfort with a National Express Coach to take you to the airport. Dropping you at the airport terminal door, you could have taken your shoes off and relaxed as someone else took the stress of getting you to the airport.
