Well, where do I start to begin to describe my wonderful 10 days in paradise. The house is absolutely beautiful set in a tranquil country area surrounded by green hills and a long meandering river that leads to the sea. At dusk one can hear the gentle croaking of the toads and frogs and during the day the wonderful songs of the exotic and unusual birds.

The house is spacious and tastefully decorated with 3 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet, bathroom and a lovely terrace canoped with a thriving grape vine which gives welcome shade on a hot day. There is a barbecue on the terrace and one can sip a relaxing cocktail listening to the nearby sheep and goats and maybe the odd cow!

The house is set in lovely well tended gardens and in just one minute walk you will reach the large and scrupulously clean swimming pool, with tables, chairs, sunloungers and parasols. There are shops and a quiet coved beach with restaurant and bar which can be reached in a 20 minute leisurely stroll.

In the 10 days that I spent in Calis I did not see a cloud in the sky or a drop of rain - nothing but beautiful sunshine and comfortable temperatures at night.I went towards the end of June before the sun became too hot.

Turkish people must be the friendliest people I have come across and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their hospitality was second to none and at the end of a meal in any restaurant the owner would offer to take customers back to their apartments, houses or hotels.

I would definitely recommend a holiday in this fascinating country that has so much to offer, from beautiful beaches, exciting boat trips, bustling markets and most importantly kind and hospitable people.

Really enjoyed my holiday in Calis beach. Can't fault the lovely house we stayed in and the quiet and large swimming pool - ideal for lazing in the lovely sunshine.
I am a shopoholic and loved the fabulous shops and markets in Calis and especially nearby Fethiye which was easily accessible via the frequent water dolmus.
Turkey is absolutely great for leather goods and I snapped myself a real bargain, a stunning black leather jacket.

Dancing was great in B52 Bar in Calis Beach and felt really safe walking around at night - everybody was really friendly. Nearby Olu Deniz has a stunning beach and the boat trips were great.

Food was excellent at very reasonable prices in the main promenade in Calis along the edge of the beach where you could enjoy your meal watching the superb sunsets.

I will be looking forward to my next visit - really soon I hope!

The house was lovely - spacious & beautifully decorated. The pool was wonderful - very large, clean & almost always deserted! Lovely and quiet area but not too far away from anything - beaches, shops, restaurants, bars etc.
